National Event Schedule & Race Procedure

GOAL

  • Promote the grow and popularity of slot car drag racing through JDS events.
  • Utilize social media with content generated and in support of JDS events.
  • The creation of “must go” events to promote new builds and local JDS events.
  • Provide a format of rules easily adopted for local race programs.
  • Create an event that combines and encourages both racing and comradery.

Registration all days, all classes, Outlaw No Bar practice
6pm Welcoming Party for all competitors-all classes
8pm JDS No Bar Shootout

SUNDAY

N/PS & N/FC Race Format
50 car maximum
Qualifying
One run in each lane – no cool down period between the two runs
Fastest of two passes is qualifying time
In case of a ET tie the faster MPH is the tie break
De-slot is a DQ of entry – no reruns
16 or 32 car field (depending on number of entries)

Single elimination no buy backs
Faster car has lane choice
In case of a ET tie the faster MPH is the tie break
Note: In the case of a red-light the other lane must break the finish beam. With a red-light and a DNF, broken entry will get 5 minutes to repair, and the race will be rerun. If unable to repair within five minutes the red-light car will advance.
