Announcing the JDS Nostalgia Drag Racing Championship (NDRC)

The NDRC is a national points series designed to promote slot car nostalgia drag racing, tracks and their regular events. The NDRC is comprised of five classes that tracks may choose to run one or all five categories at their regularly scheduled events. The classes are based on historic NHRA categories and format. The class rules are designed to make it easy for racers to participate with their current cars and to be inexpensive for new builds. We have had extensive conversations with tracks and race promoters across the country to arrive at these simple and inexpensive categories.

The .5 Tree Bracket Classes Include:

  • Super Stock:  bar and no bar cars for 1979 and older stock bodied cars.
  • Gasser:  1979 and older bodies with a minimum ½ front bumper (or facia) track clearance
  • Top Eliminator:  Class includes Altereds, Comp Coupes, Modified Roadsters, and Front Engine Dragsters

The .4 Tree Heads-Up Classes Include:
